Characteristics of heroin addict's mothers attitude to child

This article is devoted to the research which aimed to study attitude characteristics of mothers to their heroin addicted children. The results shows the significant deformation of mother's attitude to addicst. Revealed characteristics of attitude such as increased emotionality, contradictority and fixation on negative peculiarities of drag user mostly detrmine crisis expirienced by mothers in existing situation and also preventing from restoring of broken relationships with addict. The research took place in St. Petersburg City Addiction Hospital and at the Department of Addictive Disorders Bekhterev Research Psychneurological Institute.
