The article provides a description of the program of psychological prevention of self-harming behavior of schoolchildren - a preventive program aimed at secondary prevention of difficulties in learning, upbringing and socialization, deviations in the development and behavior of students, pupils (including those with disabilities), associated with manifestations of auto-aggressive behavior. The mass character of self-damaging, auto-aggressive behavior is evidenced by statistics. According to foreign studies, from 10 to 50% of modern adolescents have experience in self-harming behavior. According to the results of research by scientists from Moscow State Pedagogical University (Russia), from 10 to 14% of high school students indicated one case of self-cutting, and 3% noted a high frequency of such actions. Since self-harming behavior, firstly, indicates serious psychological problems of the individual, and secondly, can lead to suicide, the educational institution should be included in the implementation of measures of primary, secondary, tertiary prevention.
