The article is devoted to the generalization and systematization of the experience of preparing foreign language teachers for mentoring activities in the field of subject-language integration (CLIL). A two-aspect mechanism for the formation of professional competencies of teachers in mentoring activities is described. The experience of implementing a modular course program aimed at mastering professional competencies by students in two aspects is presented: the introduction of subject-language integrated learning CLIL in the educational process when learning a foreign language and the implementation of mentoring support for subject-language integration.
