A number of patients require permanent venous access (for blood sampling, drug administration). Various venous access systems can help to solve this problem, but their implantation and operation is often associated with the risk of complications. The lowest risk of serious complications is associated with the use of fully implantable central venous port systems. The paper presents the experience of implantation of these systems in 783 patients from 2015 to 2023 on thebasis of the Russian Scientific Center of Roentgenoradiology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation with observation of the number of complications.
