THE EXPERIENCE OF RETURNING THE TRUE HISTORY OF RUSSIAN SOCIOLOGY. TO THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF ELENA IOSIFOVNA KUKUSHKINA (26.02.1925 – 01.12.2019)

Sociology in Russia since the 20s of the twentieth century has been divided into Marxist and non-Marxist and is actually included in the structure of philosophy. There was a loss of subject matter, problems and history of sociology. Therefore, at the end of the twentieth century, it became necessary to abandon ideological attitudes. The research of Moscow State University professor Elena Iosifovna Kukushkina played an important role in this. She continued the tradition of an objective approach to the history of our science, laid down by N.I. Kareev in his work «Fundamentals of Russian Sociology,» prepared in 1929, but published only in 1996. A new generation of sociologists in Russia was able to get acquainted with the true history of our sociology, with its ideas, research experience thanks to the work of E.I. Kukushkina. Specific innovations of her research and some facts of personal cooperation with her are shown.
