The Russian poet and the prose writer, the outstanding translator, the publicist, the politician and the adherent of women's emancipation Mikhail Larionovich Mikhaylov (16.01.1829 - 14.08.1865) was born in the Orenburg province and throughout all the literary activity came back to children's impressions about life in the southern Ural province more than once. M.L.Mikhaylov lived a short life - only 36 years, but he managed to make a lot of things in different areas of literature. The autobiographical prose of the poet in which the writer managed to show an originality of the native land, life and customs of its inhabitants not only as the talented story-teller, but also as his native who was competent in this part of Russia since the birth is especially important for inhabitants of the Urals.
