Organic substances of plants and content of basic elements in the phytomass of steppe plant communities of South-Eastern Zabaikalye

Organic substances of plants and content of basic elements in the phytomass in three plant communities of South-Eastern Zabaikalye have been determined. Predominance of proteins and lignin in the living over-ground phytomass and cellulose, fats and water-soluble substances in the dead over-ground phytomass is connected -with dynamic of organic substances and chemism of plants. Total amount of macro- and microelements involved in biological cycles is about 4,259-8,671 % and 37,088-217,784 mg/kg, respectively.
