The article is devoted to the problems of E-learning. The coronavirus epidemic and the associated self-isolation regime have taken this discussion to a whole new level. The transition to e-learning has significantly increased the workload for teachers and educators. Among the most obvious advantages of this system is the unconditional democratization of education. E-learning is an essential step towards making education more accessible. Moreover, this applies not only to the availability of education as such, but also to the availability of certain areas and specialties. The main disadvantage is that not all occupations and skills can be effectively transferred using e-learning. The ideal education option, of course, is to combine the merits of traditional and online education systems. At the same time, it is very important to provide substantial assistance to teachers of the "old school", whose unique knowledge is the wealth of the domestic education system.
