The article describes the conditions for organizing distance learning of Hebrew for college students. An important feature of online language learning is the design of an electronic information and educational environment in which learning sections can be arranged in the form of modules, «large blocks» or a system of «frames» connected by slots, i.e. semantic links in the form of hyperlinks. The effectiveness of distance learning also depends on the ability of the teacher, firstly, to adapt pedagogical technologies to the online mode, and secondly, to organize high-quality interaction between the subjects of the educational process.
