Organization of scientific work of students of the university at the department of history, regional studies and journalism

The author introduces the goals, principles and practice of the organization of research work of students of Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod on the history and regional studies in connection with the specifics of teaching students in a linguistic University. The article shows the differences in the approach to the organization of research work on the history of students studying in the direction of "Linguistics" and students mastering the educational program "Foreign regional studies" with Oriental languages (Chinese and Japanese).
