Catering service and gastronomic tourism organization for the guests of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Vladimir

The article is devoted to the organization of food services and leisure of tourists and fans of the World Cup in the cultural capital Vladimir and the region. The authors analyze the events that have been held in the region within the framework of the cultural program "Vladimir the cultural capital of the World Cup", the activities of Culinary Association and "Gastronomic map of Russia" aimed at popularization of ecogastronomical and rural tourism in Russia, promotion of national (regional) cuisine and food products of local producers. The article shows the possibilities of interaction among the regional authorities and business representatives in order to create new tourist facilities, effectively promote the tourist potential of the region in Russia and abroad, which resulted in an increase in the incoming tourist flow and the entry of Vladimir and Suzdal into the top five cities for fans' tours.
