The organization of the processes of mergers and acquisitions according to the classification criteria

Large companies around the world, during a period of active economic growth undercapitalism, seek to expand their influence by diversifying or monopolizing their goods/services in the market through mergers and acquisitions. Since M&A transactions are a new phenomenon for the Russian Federation, the purpose of this article is to structure information on the classification of mergers andacquisitions and update the classification for Russian realities. The tendency of Russian business to formvertically integrated structures, while the global market prefers horizontal and conglomerate associations, has created certain challenges for Russian business in 2024. The use of mergers and acquisitions mechanisms as the main tool for business destruction, rather than value creation, inefficient activities inthe center and the practical absence of professional consulting institutions on mergers and acquisitions in the regions of the Russian Federation, unlike in the Russian Federation.
