The article is devoted to the issue of ensuring psychological safety in institutions of additional education. The main factors, in the author's opinion, directly affecting the provision of psychological security are considered. The experience of creating a safe educational environment is described on the example of the activities of the Resource Center for Working with Gifted Children of the Center for the Development of Creativity of Childhood and Youth “Constellation” of the city of Kaluga.
