Organization of independent work of flute player students during the initial period of vocational skills formation

Fluting gained great popularity all over the world. It is taught at all stages of music education: from preparatory divisions of art schools to graduate schools of higher education. However, to date, the educational and methodical literature does not present a clearly built system of exercises for flute players to practice independently, which negatively affects the effectiveness of their training. As a rule, methodological recommendations, anthologies and collections of exercises for this content are limited to musical examples, scales and etudes aimed at the development of technical skills of flute performance. The aim of the present study is to fill an unfortunate gap in flute teaching methodology, to present an effective, based on years of practice, system of home lessons for flute players at the initial stage of training.
