Th e paper analyzes the current state of research on the professional rehabilitation of disabled veterans of the special military operation, highlighting key problems related to its fragmentation and insuffi cient adaptation to the specifi cs of military injuries. It is indicated that the main areas of professional rehabilitation include diagnostics, secondary vocational guidance, professional retraining, assistance in employment, and workplace adaptation. Th e authors note that existing approaches to the study of professional rehabilitation are based on general legal norms without considering the unique needs of this category of individuals. Th e article pays particular att ention to the specifi cs of the disabled veterans contingent participating in the special military operation: their high professional status before sustaining military injuries and age-related characteristics, which determine the formation of social and professional identity and the need for self-realization, etc. Special att ention is also given to the use of unifi ed methodologies, the absence of specialized protocols, and the lack of information about the long-term consequences of military injuries. In this regard, the necessity of developing a specialized professional rehabilitation system based on clear organizational and methodological conditions, including a regulatory framework, an eff ective institutional system, and modern program-methodological support, is emphasized. Typologization of these conditions makes it possible to increase the effi ciency of their implementation from the position of detailed point-by-point consideration based on clear diff erentiation. In conclusion, it is emphasized that successful professional rehabilitation of disabled veterans requires a comprehensive approach that includes individualization of programs, the use of modern technologies, and close coordination between all participants in the process.
