Organizational and preparatory actions of the investigator for interrogations

The authors consider the features of interrogation and declare that preparatory and organizational actions are important components of the success of this investigative action. The study considers the factors that determine the features of the interrogation, the distinctive aspects of typical investigative situations of interrogation, the general regulations of the tactics, including unacceptable methods of influencing the person under interrogation. Techniques of emotional and logical influence as elements of the organization and direction of the interrogation are considered in detail. The features of preparation and organization of interrogation in conflict and conflict-free situations are highlighted. Psychological techniques that allow organizing a favorable situation during the interrogation are discussed. Techniques that allow highlighting the features of their use and impact on the person under interrogation were considered as well. The authors have developed the list of general regulations of preparation for interrogation.
