The role and importance of Osetian folk games in the process of physical education in primary school and their using in forming of healthy and socially active personality is described. All possibilities of folk games as one of the most effective and important factors of child rearing are analyzed.The complex using of these games in the context of forming harmoniously developed, healthy and socially active personality of junior pupils in primary school is discussed.М.Ж. ЗангиеваThe research is done to prove the folk games to be one of the variative part of a physical education lesson in еру regional component. The results of this experiment allowed us to make a conclusion on the practical importance of folk games using in physical education marking dynamics in physical development of children.
