Judgment of iurodstvo in the framework of determinism and synergetic historicism

The article considers the phenomenon of iurodstvo (holy foolery) in the framework of determinism and synergetic historicism. The ontological meaning of iurodstvo is discussed. It is concluded that only in indissoluble connection of free-thinking, distinctness, uncertainty and unpredictability of life of the fools for Christ (with the increasing discrepancy of their world, blurring and ambiguity of their self-identification) there is a chance of active search for additional ontological, mythological and religious interests by holy fools. At the same time the uncertainty and ambiguity of holy fools' behaviour, their reflection and the freedom of choice, free-thinking, distinctness and unpredictability act as fundamental immanent conditions of their life.
