Grounds for criminal liability for unfinished criminal activity

This article analyzes the grounds of criminal liability for unfinished criminal activity in the modern criminal legislation of the Russian Federation, and also examines the main problematic aspects of these grounds. In this paper, the theories of incomplete, general and complete foundations, their features are disclosed in detail. The paper provides evidence that the basis of criminal liability for preparation and attempt is the commission of an act that contains all the signs of the composition of an unfinished crime.
