Main institutional elements of the bar of the Russian Federation and the people

The article provides a comparative legal analysis of the institutional elements of the bar associations of Russia and China, reveals the key features of the legal regulation, legal status of lawyers, organizational forms of bar associations and legal liability of lawyers in the considered states. The author identifies similarities and differences in the institutional elements of the bar association in the presented countries, noting that the Chinese bar legislation, unlike the Russian one, contains strict normative and ideological requirements for representatives of the bar community. In conclusion, it is emphasized that, despite the similarity of the organization of bar associations, the Russian and Chinese models of the bar association have significant differences, but in the future it is not excluded that effective and well-established norms of the bar legislation will be borrowed to improve the relevant activities in the presented states.
