The present study analyzes the main worldview attitudes of the Russian philosopher K.N. Leontyev. It is emphasized that Leontyev's aesthetic attitude to reality and conservative views are the main points in the construction of his philosophical concept. The philosopher's works reflect his desire for the beautiful, which permeated his entire life. It is no coincidence that Leontyev noted the fact that the great responsibility for the future of Russia lies precisely with cultural and art figures, and that the health of the people depends on their work. Paying tribute to the merits of Feodor Dostoevsky, K.N. Leontyev nevertheless believed that Christian values could and should be imposed by fear: love for people, not based on the fear of God, is not purely Christian love. When there is no fear, love loses its depth, turning into sentimentality and pity. The authors critically analyze Leontyev's sociopolitical concept, his deep aversion to revolutionary uprisings, his commitment to class inequality, which is a guarantee of the preservation of the identity of Russian life and culture.
