The article considers the main existing models of legal regulation of labour relations that have developed in world practice: Romano-German and Anglo-Saxon. The main characteristic features of the presented models, their positive and negative qualities, as well as similar and distinctive properties are highlighted. It can be noted that countries using the same model have similar features of applicable legal acts in the field of labour. However, recently both models have been actively consolidating one into another. Therefore, we can assume that in the near future the considered systems will be able to come to a unified legal balance to ensure better protection of labour relations in the world.
