Main directions of organization of scientific research student work at a pedagogical university

The relevance of the study is due to the fundamental changes in the modern education system and the requirements for the pedagogical training of future teachers, whose professional qualities should be creative activity, initiative, independence, and high professionalism. One of the conditions for high-quality training of a modern teacher is the organization of scientific research work of students, developing professional motivation, personal potential, research competence, which contribute to the formation and development of a teacher. The purpose of the study is to determine the main directions of organizing students’ research activities at a pedagogical university. To achieve this goal, the author uses methods of analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature on the problem under consideration, systematization and generalization. The methodological basis of the study is the environmental approach. The article discusses approaches to defining the essence of the concepts “educational environment”, “developmental environment”, “research environment”, “creative environment”. The main directions of organizing research activities include the inclusion of students in the research environment of the university, the development of student motivation, stimulation of their active research activities, the use of innovative technologies in the learning process of students, scientific and methodological support of students’ research activities, the creation of a system for as- sessing the quality of research activities of students, development of their research orientation. Their implementation will improve the efficiency of the educational process and the quality of professional and pedagogical training of the future teacher.
