Main directions of improvement of legislation in the field of theft of budgetary funds in the implementation of state (municipal) procurement

The article examines the problems of law enforcement in the sphere of public (municipal) procurement and suggests areas in which the relevant legislation should be improved in order to combat theft of budget funds. The problem of corruption in public procurement is well-known and relevant, and therefore any state interested in increasing the efficiency of spending budget resources faces the need to update the regulatory framework. Based on his own experience in the field of public procurement, the author gives his recommendations on the areas in which it would be advisable to optimize the regulatory framework so that there are fewer opportunities for theft.
