The article is devoted to the problem of restricting freedom of expression on the Internet in Russia. The evidence includes the exponential increase in the number of out-of-court grounds for blocking Internet resources as well as the increase in the number of bodies authorized to decide on blocking resources and toughening sanctions (criminal and administrative) for placing particular information on the Internet.
