The article examines the importance of entrepreneurship in tourism and the characteristic features of the sector in Russia, raises the issue of studying the specifics of organizing and doing business in the digital space. The work reflects the categorization of economic benefits by levels, the reasons for digital transformation are presented using the example of the hotel industry in the context of global experience. The authors explore the factors of influence and reveal the features of consolidating trends on their basis, explore the nature of changes in the tourism sector during the transition to digital reality, analyze market trends using specific examples. As a result of the research, it was possible to classify the available software and identify the main factors promoting digital development trends in tourism.
