Basic theoretical and methodological approaches to the problem of development of student-age young people’s artistic and creative initiative in social and cultural activity of an educational establishment

The present article considers development conditions for student-age young people’s artistic and creative initiative from the point of view of methodology in which the main aspect is the organization of social and cultural activity. In this context the whole range of methodologicalapproaches is shown: system approach allowed us to consider the operated model as a pedagogical system, it helped to define its structure, content and correlation between its components; sociocultural approach made it possible to discuss social and cultural activity as a task-oriented, intentionally organized by an educational establishment process of introduction of student-age young people to a given society values and of an active involvement of the person itself in the aforementioned process; creative activity-related approach solved one of the main tasks which laid in studying regularities of activation of artistic and creative processes; person- oriented approach became both as a method and a principle in the process of studying of artistic and creative initiative of student-age people, as well as it provided the exploration of subjective peculiarities of the phenomenon discussed.
