Basic patterns of cognitive competences development

The paper describes cognitive competences that characterize the capabilities of the cognitive processes of perception, memory, thinking and imagination. The basic laws of their development are taken into consideration. It is noted that the development goes through the growing complexity of cognitive and operational structures that form the foundation for cognitive skills.
