Peculiarities of anesthetic management of biliopancreatic shunting operation

The authors analyzed anesthetic and surgical management of 13 patients with morbid obesity that had biliopancreatic shunting. They studied the influence of anesthesia on central hemodynamic, coronary flow, recovery time, reactivation of motion activity and intestinal work; also they examined effectiveness of post operational analgesia, frequency and structure of surgical complications, surgical intervention influence on body weight, carbohydrate and fat metabolism.
