Characteristics of digital communications between logistics companies in Russia and China: challenges, barriers and development prospects

This article examines the specifics of digital communications between logistics companies in Russia and China amid the rapid development of cross-border trade. The role of digital technologies in managing international supply chains is analyzed, and the current state of digital interaction between companies in the two countries is characterized. Key technological, legal, organizational, and intercultural barriers hindering effective information exchange are identified. The implications of existing limitations for the sustainability of logistics processes are considered. Promising areas for the development of digital communications were identified, including the standardization of electronic document management, the development of joint digital platforms, the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies, and the enhancement of specialists' digital competencies. A conclusion was drawn regarding the strategic importance of digital integration for improving the efficiency and reliability of Russian-Chinese logistics.
