Specifics of access to contaminated units in the mental lexicon

The article is devoted to the discussion of the experimental results with the bilingual Russian-English students, the purpose of which is to identify the features of access to storage and extraction of contaminated unit meanings from the mental lexicon. Linguistic data analysis allows considering the process under study as a phenomenon opposite to conceptual integration in terms of Fauconnier and Turner. Conceptual disintegration is viewed from the point of view of a number of detected factors that determine its process.
