Features of formation of human capital assets for agricultural sector in the Republic of Buryatia

The article is a continuation of a series devoted to the study of human resources formation in agriculture. It analyzes the quantitative characteristics of the system of human capital formation for agricultural sector in the Republic of Buryatia. We have presented an assessment of the distribution of university students in the region by branches of knowledge; the share of students majoring in agriculture in Buryatia from the share of total given contingent of students studying in the Far Eastern Federal District; growth rates of the student population majoring in agriculture. It has been revealed that in universities of the region there are 14 academic programs for Bachelor's, Specialist's, and Master's degrees in the field of agriculture in the region. The Republic of Buryatia is the first in the Far Eastern Federal District in the growth rate of students majoring in 35.00.00 and 36.00.00 training programs (26.53% and 27%, respectively), and the second in 19.00.00 training program (21.89%).
