Features of the Formation and Use of Human Resources in a Particular Region (Using the Example of the Republic of Tuva)

The authors analyze the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the republic’s human resource based on state statistics and sociological research data conducted in the Republic of Tuva. The human resource as a whole and human capital as an integral part of it are considered as a fundamental factor in the socio-economic development of the region. The article includes an analysis of the quantitative characteristics of the human resource – the main demographic indicators of the population: its size and structure, fertility, migration processes. The analysis of the obtained data allowed the authors to conclude that it is the traditional way of life in the republic that is the determining factor in the accumulation of quantitative demographic characteristics of Tuva’s human resource, which makes it a self-sufficient subject of the Russian Federation. There have also been positive developments in the use of human resources in private business, especially in the field of self-employment.
