Features of multicultural society development in modern Russia

The principle of multiculturalism in the migration policy of individual states appeared in the second half of the XX century as opposed to Nazism and the colonial system. Emphasis was placed on equal coexistence of different cultures in one country without complete assimilation. This approach was also the antipode of the model of the \"melting pot\ the merger of all cultures into one is supposed. Such approach is widespread in the USA.
