The peculiarities of forming the body image in modern education

The modern position of psychology of bodiness among the humanities is considered. Concepts «the bodiness» and «the image of the body» are analyzed and differentiated. Psychological factors influencing on the structure of the image of the body are disclosed. Social-cultural determinacy of forming the body image and the necessity of examination of the peculiarities of the body image by pedagogical psychology in modern education are substantiated. Modern researches of forming the body image at students' age are analyzed.
