Features of the formation of professional deformation in employees of the department of internal affairs

The article deals with the problem of professional deformation of employees of the Department of Internal Affairs, which is one of the reasons for the decrease in the efficiency of official activity. The paper analyzes the theoretical foundations and experimental studies aimed at studying the features of the formation of such a negative phenomenon. In the conducted studies, the idea was confirmed that the severity of professional aggression and behavioral transfer is higher among employees involved in the investigation and disclosure of crimes than among employees performing a preventive function. In addition, the article discusses the time periods of the formation of professional deformation. Particular attention is paid to the issues related to the study of means and methods to reduce its negative impact on the personality of an employee of the Department of Internal Affairs. In conclusion, the authors conclude that preventive and preventive measures are one of the most effective ways to overcome professional deformation.
