Peculiarities of French phraseological units with the component "zoonym"

This article is devoted to the comparative analysis of Russian and French phraseological units with a component "zoonym", it expands our idea of national-cultural specificity of phraseological units, thus making a definite contribution to the development of the theory of phraseology. The research consists in the fact that, by looking at Russian and French phraseological expressions containing the component "zoonym", it is possible to identify the linguistic view of these cultures in this sphere. We assume that these phraseological expressions have some common figurative meanings associated in each language with the names of the same animals.
