In recent years, there has been a growing interest in military service on the part of the female part of society. This is confirmed by the data of the competitive selection of applicants to military higher educational institutions. The article discusses the features of the gender approach to the implementation of the educational process in military universities, with the aim of forming a coherent, self-developing, competitive personality to perform the professional duties of a military man of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
