In our work, we have considered the features of the application of the game method in the physical education of pupils of primary school age. The modern system of Russian education pays increased attention to the physical development of elementary school students. To solve the problems of physical education, preference is given to the game method. In the physical education of students in grades 1-4, the game acts as a set of motor actions and is an independent set of necessary exercises. The mobile game allows the younger student to try on various roles, develop the ability to follow the rules and instructions, and work in a team. This has a positive effect on his individual abilities, and also develops communication skills. The game method allows the teacher to identify various deviations in the behavior of students, analyze their activities, and predict the further educational program. It is important to note that gaming activity stimulates the development of students not only physical, but also psychological, moral, social, mental.
