Features of institutionalization of socially oriented non-profit organizations in structures of civil society: a dual approach

The article discusses the features of the process of institutionalization of socially oriented nonprofit organizations through a reference to the origins of this concept - institutionalism, social institutions. It is emphasized that in modern conditions this sector is formed not only under the influence of the subjects of social management, but also through local social norms, values and expectations. Based on this, the two-dimensional nature of institutionalism is formulated and the dual model of institutionalization of SO NCOs is substantiated, taking directions “from below”, where social interactions take place in the local space, and “from above” - social management of administrative entities. The importance of social interactions in a certain social space and the solution of problematic issues within specific territories are shown, which make it possible to avoid reducing institutionalization to the sphere of influence only from the subjects of social management
