Features of the use of a point-rating system when teaching a foreign language to cadets of military universities

The most significant features of the point-rating system using process in teaching a foreign language to cadets of military universities are considered. Their study is carried out in close connection with the study of the modern departmental and, in particular, military universities educational activities specifics. The effectiveness of the development by military universities of their own point-rating systems as one of the measures for further Russian higher education system modernization is proved. In addition, it demonstrates how such a system can optimize the process of conducting training sessions in a foreign language.
