Application of communicative methods of English language teaching in non-language universities

The article discusses some features of application of the communicative method of English teaching, focusing on the need to involve non-language higher school students in active participation in the educational process. The authors emphasize the relevance of the communicative method imposed by the time. The article gives examples of the communication method application for development of the communicative competence in English.
