The article describes the peculiarities of using web-portfolio technology in teaching a foreign language at a university. The role of the given tool as well as its benefits in terms of formation of students' foreign language communicative skills and professional competencies are determined. The purpose of this article is to analyze and evaluate the significance of using web-portfolio technology in the process of students' foreign language training at a transport university.
