The features of historical development of the criminal persecution institution in Russia

The article studies the development features of criminal prosecution institution in the practice and research of the Russian criminal trial. The author carries out a historical analysis of this institution development. The paper studies the historical periods when there were the first attempts of scientific substantiation of the content of "criminal prosecution" concept. Particular attention is paid to the opinions of Russian legal experts on the problem of criminal prosecution implementation.
