Peculiarities of changing the legal status of residential premises

This article examines the issues of changing the legal status of residential and nonresidential premises. It analyzes the legal concepts of residential and non-residential premises and their characteristic features that allow us to differentiate these real estate objects and resolve the issue of the possibility of their corresponding transfer from non-residential to residential stock or from residential stock to non-residential stock. The issues related to the procedure for transferring the real estate objects in question, without which it is impossible to change their legal status, have been studied.
