Features of emotional development of preschool children with general underdevelopment of speech

It is devoted to the peculiarities of the emotional development of older preschool children with general speech underdevelopment. It is emphasized that the emotional sphere is an important component in the development of preschoolers and primary schoolchildren and that the number of children with impaired speech development is currently growing steadily, as a result of which most of them have increased levels of anxiety, lowered self-esteem, they are withdrawn, unsure of themselves. It is concluded that the study of the characteristics of the emotional sphere and specially organized correctional work will contribute to the development of the emotional sphere of children with general speech underdevelopment.
