Features of the culture of power in the managerial apparatus of the state body

The paper provides a rationale for the study of the culture of power, examines its features in the managerial apparatus of the state body. The problem of the existence of this phenomenon in the conditions of socio-cultural transformation of Russian society is outlined. Based on the conducted theoretical analysis the content of the term “power culture in the managerial apparatus of a state body” is presented. The results of sociological survey of civil servants, aimed at identifying their ideas about the culture of power, its characteristics, values and motives of professional activity in the managerial apparatus of a state body, are proposed. An assessment of the severity of the main characteristics of the culture of power of the managerial apparatus in the minds of civil servants is carried out. The obtained results of the survey allow us to identify the problems of the culture of power in the managerial apparatus of the state body, to outline the prospects for further work in this research direction.
