This paper deals with the preservation and popularization of Kyrgyz national values and the educational power of folk songs among the younger generation and the need to apply modern and innovative approaches in their study. The paper emphasizes the importance of processing folk songs in musical, poetic or dramatic forms in a modern interpretation, which contribute to increasing the interest of young people in national heritage and values. Such methods expand the educational potential of folklore and play an important role in the education of the younger generation, preserving national identity and passing it on to future generations. The authors argue that the essence of Kyrgyz folk pedagogy lies in its preservation and development, taking into account modern conditions.
