Features of international cooperation of EMERCOM of Russia in the field of providing humanitarian aid to persons affected by emergency situations as part of cooperation between the Russian Federation and members of the Commonwealth of Independent States

The article discusses the specifics of providing humanitarian assistance to persons affected by emergency situations under Agreements between the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the Governments of the states that are part of the Commonwealth of Independent States. In emergency situations, there is a need to coordinate the efforts of states and special services that ensure the elimination of the consequences of man-made accidents and emergencies. One of the relevant areas of cooperation between the services involved is the provision of humanitarian aid. The provision of humanitarian aid is one of the priorities of EMERCOM of Russia throughout the world and as part of cooperation between the Russian Federation and members of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The result of the study is an analysis of various provisions of Agreements on cooperation on humanitarian issues between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and special services ensuring the elimination of the consequences of man-made accidents and emergencies in the CIS.
