Based on the analysis of regulatory legal acts regulating social relations in the field of inheritance of state awards, honorary and commemorative signs, the article substantiates the need for creating an appropriate regulatory legal framework regulating the features of the procedure for inheriting awards, as well as the content and procedure for implementing the legal mechanism for inheriting these objects of civil rights.
